This is the restaurant our family love to go. The food and the price are good. The staff and the owners are friendly and helpful. The parking is while in the entrance. It's good for seniors. If you like red beans, you should try the red bean with water chestnut cake. This is the item I like the most. The menu is big. So many food for you to choose. They are giving 10% off the whole bill and free tea in the lunch time. If you are in this area, this is the best restaurant you should try.

My wife and daughter are from Hong Kong, and we live in Toronto. We visited Vancouver for a week and stopped at this restaurant for some dim sum and dinner. The flavors were amazing, big portions and a huge selection. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. This spot was much better than a few other places we tried. A must-try when you’re in the area!

Enjoyed Alaska king crab dinner with friends. Less than $500 total. Enjoyed legs, noodles rice dishes. Also free range chicken and veggies. Also had chicken feet and sea cucumber. Red bean soup and osthamus jelly for dessert. Parking in front. Came again for lobster dinner which was nice and meaty. Also enjoyed sweet and sour pork although pieces could be smaller

We went for dim sum on a Wednesday and it was busy by noon. We arrived at 11 so we had no problem with getting a table. The food was fresh, hot, and well made. A little more expensive than I expected but the portion sizes are a little bigger than other places. The staff are friendly and quick.

Classic Chinese gathering place offering simple dim sum. With a deep understanding of traditional simple techniques. The food and the price are good, staff for lunch are friendly and helpful. Parrking is limited. Everything fresh, hot, and well made. A little more expensive than I expected but the portion sizes are a little bigger than other places but expect simplicity. All the favorites were there, goodness typical meal, If you’re a regular customer they will give you VIP discount which includes free tea and 10% off. Rice roll with fish paste in crispy bean curd sheet especially well executed. Rice roll with fish paste in crispy bean curd sheet especially well executed. However, the environment is a bit outdated and dirty carpet, table and utensil not so clean. Located in plaza, private room available average chinese food.

#vancouver #chinese #privaterooms Top Cantonese Cuisine Restaurant 2752 Kingsway, Vancouver BC Located in a strip mall across from Purdy’s Chocolates in East Side of Vancouver. We came for dinner on a week night. Some of my friends call this their go to place (飯堂) so our service was very attentive by Peggy. I usually come here for dim sum. For dinner, there were seasonal specials and set meals but we decide to order a la carte. We ordered: (Party of 6) Seafood Hotpot (海皇㷛) - large hotpot with fresh veggies lined on the bottom with loads of seafood (scallops, prawns, clams, squids, fish, etc) Porkchop in Orange Sauce - we decide to try this instead of the typical Sweet and Sour Pork. The taste was more fresh and tangy and not as heavy but cumbersome to cut up Porkchops in group setting Half Chicken in Turmeric (黃油雞)- very moist and tasty chicken Gai lan with Beef - very good tender beef with lots of Gai Lan. Garlic Pan Fried Black Sable Fish (煎封黑魚) - meaty fish steak, no bones Childhood favourite Egg Dough Fried (疍散)- light fluffy crunchy fried egg dough with coconut flakes and drizzle with syrup. The food was great and the dishes were large, we all shared 2 small bowl of rice and we were given free dessert of red bean soup at the end. Total included tax and tip for six patrons is $31 for this meal. This location also has a few small rooms that can accommodate private parties of 20. Lots of community events arranged for private functions here.

We've been going here for over 15 years. The food has always been good and affordable. The service has always been great as well--the food comes out in a timely fashion and used plates are constantly being cleared. We usually book the restaurant's private room for birthdays and events, and sometimes the main area for larger events such as weddings. This means we order the banquet dinners quite often and it doesn't disappoint. Recommend the king crab, peking duck and tapioca pudding :)
